MyMirror 的秘密
MyMirror 是技術創新的設計，秘密是 MyMirror 其實是一個 OS module，安裝好了就是作業系統的一部份！因為作業系統控制檔案讀寫的動作，所以 MyMirror 可以在系統底層就掌握所有讀寫的活動。當主機要抄寫一份資料時，MyMirror 以作業系統的姿態，將資料寫入本機的硬碟，同時將資料傳到遠端的伺服器，並寫入遠端的硬碟。
MyMirror 搭配 heart-beat 技術，使主機與備援機架構成一組叢集（cluster），提高整個系統的高可用性（High Availability）。
當主機當機的時候，備援機會自動接手提供不中斷的服務；當主機復原時，備援機的新增資料可以自動同步回主機，服務依然不會中斷。最後再宣告主機重新上線，使整個系統回復原來的狀態。

MyMirror 是美商雙峰科技（TPS, Twin Peaks Software）的產品，可以到 TPS 官網下載 Windows、Linux 的測試版本，http://www.twinpeaksoft.com/download.html
MyMirror for Linux 另有提供 freeware 版本，同步的資料量 50G 是其限制（active server 的 partition 限制在 50G以下），支援作業系統 Red Hat 5 與 CentOS 5。Freeware 版可以免費下載使用，但如係系統之損壞與資料之毀損，TPS公司並不提供保證與服務。
